Kabira Mobility delivers KM3000 and KM4000 to Goa Police
Verna - Goa, 19th July, 2021: Kabira Mobility, the Goa-based EV start-up today has announced the delivery of 1st batch of hi-speed electric bikes KM3000 and KM4000 to Goa Police. The company plans to deliver more electric bikes to different state police departments to make a push towards eco-friendly Policing across the nation.
The bikes were handed over to the DGP of Goa Police, Mr Mukesh Kumar Meena by Mr Jaibir Siwach, the CEO of Kabira Mobility and Mr Nitin Cuncolikar.
Two-wheelers constitute more than 50% of the total vehicles bought every year in Goa. There are over eight lakh two-wheelers registered in the state. Adoption of e-bikes by the state police will help in encouraging the public to adopt eco-friendly mobility solutions instead of conventional fuel ones.
On the occasion Mr. Jaibir Singh Siwach, CEO, Kabira Mobility said “Adoption of electric vehicle by the state police is an encouraging step as it will send a message among the mass that the government is serious towards adoption of eco-friendly mobility solutions. KM3000 and KM4000 are the perfect choice for the state police as both bikes are hi-speed and have a long riding range which will help the police department to keep the running costs under check and help in conserving the environment as well”.
KM3000 and KM4000 are entirely ‘Made in India’ and these bikes can achieve a top speed of 120kmph and riding range of 150 km on a single charge which made them the preferred choice of Goa Police.
KM3000 and KM4000 received an overwhelming response from the community and the EV Industry. The test rides of KM3000 and KM4000 are now scheduled for 15th August. Customers will be able to experience these bikes at Kabira Mobility’s dealer network spread across major cities.
These high-speed bikes are equipped with Combi-brakes, fast charging onboard and roadside assistance, making them as appealing as the ICE motorbikes in terms of style and performance. Kabira Mobility Electric bikes sport modern design with a sleek aerodynamic profile, fireproof battery, park assist and many smart & exciting features.
Both the bikes are designed in keeping Generation Z in mind. KM3000 gives the ‘sports bike’ look with a kerb weight of 138 kgs, while the KM4000 weighs 147 kg and has been designed as a ‘naked bike’ which is a completely new concept for the electric bikes. The KM3000 and KM4000 can be charged on 2 modes, charging on Eco mode take 6hrs 30mins to fully charge the power packs and Boost mode can charge the 80% battery in just 50 minutes.
